Politics aside, there is literally nothing less sexy than a Ron Paul supporter.

I had my first experience breaking up a fight today (or at least trying). Apparently, “Hey, guys…guys, c’mon,” is not effective at diffusing tension.

Sex Without Love →
andyrockcandy: How do they do it, the ones who make love without love? Beautiful as dancers, gliding over each other like ice-skaters over the ice, fingers hooked inside each other’s bodies, faces red as steak, wine, wet as the children at birth whose mothers are going to give them away. How do they come…

Upon my recent reading of "The Little Mermaid"...
These are way better. i-will-set-sail-to-the-streets: I stumbled across these series of sketches whilst researching about the  later adaptations of the story. Why didn’t Disney use Kay Nielsen’s concept sketches for the movie? They look so incredible. Stupid Disney.

Last night I dreamt that Oscar Wilde and I were hanging out in a bookstore, but he just kept looking at sports stars’ biographies and talking about stats. It was pretty tedious, and eventually I hid from him in the stationary section until he left. I’m sorry, Oscar. I don’t think my unconscious gets you.

I’m actually not much of a drinker, but limoncello is definitely going to turn me into an alcoholic.

books I have (very recently) known:
I spent most of my free hours last week reading: It’s a completely engrossing, sit-on-the-couch-for-four-hours-struggling-to-keep-your-eyelids-open-so-you-know-what-happens-next kind of novel. I’m now reading: I love Iris—you know I do—but I shouldn’t have picked another novel after The Secret History. Iris’ pacing is a bit…slower. Also, I’m...

last night's dinner deconstructed:
gnocchi with green pea puree and jerk chicken (except I used premade gnocchi which…whatever. I was lazy.) French 75s (except we actually ended up using some of Aric’s Hendrick’s, so it was even tastier.) (p.s. my mom bought me that cocktail shaker last weekend, and using it gives me so much unironic pleasure)
